Ultrafine particle counter and sizer

The SMPS+C 19″ rack system, fully compliant with CEN/TS 17434:2020, is designed for continuous (24/7) real-time monitoring of ultrafine particles (UFP) in ambient air. The SMPS+C system combines electrostatic classification with a DMA (Differential Mobility Analyser) and detection using a condensation particle counter (CPC). It provides a particle size distribution (1/cm³).

  • Maximum particle concentration: Up to 10⁷ particles/cm³ (depending on aerosol neutralizer).
  • Spray drying: Nafion®, drying to ≤ 40% RH.
  • Flows: Total inlet flow 1,5 l/min; CPC flow rate 0,3 l/min; DMA flow rate of 3,0 L/min.
  • Connections: USB, RS-232, analog input for weather sensors, analog pulse output.
